The idea of a camper who found the procedure of laying support plates as cumbersome.   He wanted a foot that was permanentely attached to the caravan/motor-home.  The models that he found on the market were either too small or not stable enough for his purpose.  Many of the models available were difficult to clean and the camper was not satisfied with their appearance.  He sought to address these problems by creating a foot that had a large surface area and was robust, weatherproof, maintenance-free, easy to attach, easy to clean and which fit in to the overall design of the caravan. Thats how big-plates were born.
